Uquifa jointly with Kern Pharma have developed a generic version of Lilly's Cymbalta (Duloxetine).

Within the frame of this collaboration, Kern has llaunched two new presentations of Duloxetine, a top selling reference drug in the Spanish antidepressant market. Uquifa is responsible for the manufacture of both, API and pellet forms, meanwhile Kern is responsible for encapsulation, packaging and marketing the specialities in Spain.

The product was marketed in Spain from late July 2015. Kern Pharma is one of the top 5 labs in terms of manufactured units on the generic market in Spain.
